Nordic-africa clean energy & mobility cluster
The Nordic–Africa Clean Energy & Mobility Cluster is a focused platform connecting Nordic and African partners to develop and scale commercially viable projects in electric mobility and renewable energy.
Established in collaboration with the Norwegian-African Business Association (NABA) and hosted by Intro Africa, the cluster brings together a selected group of companies, investors, utilities, and public actors working across the electric mobility and energy value chain.
The cluster targets stakeholders directly involved in deployment and investment, including:
electric vehicle companies (two-wheelers, buses, and commercial fleets)
charging and battery infrastructure providers
renewable energy developers and independent power producers
grid operators and utilities
logistics and fleet operators
development finance institutions and climate-focused investors
The objective is simple: to move from fragmented initiatives to coordinated, scalable projects across African markets. The cluster facilitates this through targeted matchmaking, project development support, and structured engagement between partners.
By combining Nordic experience in electrification, energy systems, and infrastructure with Africa’s fast-growing demand and market potential, the cluster creates a pipeline of bankable opportunities across transport and energy systems.
Activities are closely linked to the Nordic Africa EV Summit and related initiatives, providing members with direct access to partners, projects, and decision-makers.
This is not a general network. It is a working platform for organisations ready to enter, invest in, or scale operations within Africa’s clean mobility and energy sectors.

Intro Africa, convened and developed by Thought Leader Global, serves as a dynamic facilitator of the Nordic–Africa Clean Energy and Mobility Cluster by bringing together stakeholders across sectors and geographies. As the initiator of the platform, Thought Leader builds on over a decade of experience in the global and Nordic e-mobility landscape, combined with hands-on engagement across Africa’s emerging e-mobility ecosystem. Through Intro Africa, this experience is translated into curated dialogues, trusted relationships, and actionable partnerships-bridging knowledge and business to accelerate collaboration between Nordic and African actors in clean energy and mobility.
