Presenting Road To COP32 in Adddis Ababa 2027
With Ethiopia emerging as a leader in electric mobility, supported by strong investments in infrastructure and renewable energy, COP32 is set to take place in Addis Ababa in 2027.
In this context, Oslo becomes an early point of convergence.
As part of the Nordic–Africa EV Summit (4–7 May), we are convening a dedicated “Road to COP32” hybrid forum on 4 May at 3:30PM CET, bringing together high-level stakeholders from Ethiopia and the Nordics across mobility, energy, and policy. The session is organised in collaboration with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and the Norwegian-African Business Association (NABA).
Focus areas
Introducing the vision for COP32 in Ethiopia
Strengthening Nordic–Africa collaboration in clean transport and energy
Exploring the role of electric mobility as a strong driver in climate solutions
Building partnerships that can scale ahead of 2027
As cities expand and demand for transport accelerates, sustainable mobility becomes central to climate action. Ethiopia’s progress offers a clear signal of what is possible, and what can be scaled across the continent.
We invite Nordic and African stakeholders to take part in this gathering in Oslo, to engage directly with peers, contribute to the dialogue, and help shape the role electric mobility will play within the broader climate agenda leading into COP32.
By invitation only.
